Our overnight visit in late September was amazing! Pattra was delightful and had all the special touches in place, from Welsh cakes, biscuits, teas and coffees in our room to a delicious dinner in the bar. Not to be forgotten was a very tasty full breakfast. I highly recommend this lovely inn and hope to visit again!

Genuinely fabulous! A stunning location, lovely clean room with some unexpected embellishments. Wonderful staff, serving exceptional food and a really cool aviator themed bar! (breakfast delivered the night before for an early check out!) my photos don't do it justice. I just hope I'm not doing myself an injustice by reviewing this place to find it not available next time I come to stay!
We really enjoyed the 400+year old location next to Harlech Castle. The hosts were so friendly and helpful. The room was very room, bathroom modern and the bed & pillows very comfortable. Loved the exposed timbers that contributed to the ambiance. The pub was cozy with good beers & whiskey's. The restaurant serves outstanding food and our breakfast was to order and very filling. We really enjoyed the two night stay.
Wow, what a night I had! This place is honestly amazing — I’d give it 12/10 if I could. The staff were super friendly and made me feel right at home. The food? Absolutely delicious, full of proper Thai flavour — just really, really good. The rooms were surprisingly detailed, had everything I needed, and were super comfy. The location is pretty cool too — right next to the second steepest street in the world, with a great view of the castle and the sea. If you're into planes, you’ll love the bar room — it’s packed with aviation stuff, which was such a nice touch. Can’t recommend this place enough. We didn't stay at the hotel, but celebrated our first wedding anniversary at Pattra's restaurant. Pattra and team were brilliant, perfect balance of attentive and unobtrusive. The food was excellent, the ambiance was lovely. And great location too. Highly recommend
Wonderfully relaxing weekend in the Castle Cottage Hotel, Harlech. Pattra was the perfect host; warm, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The suite (3) was immaculate, comfortable and warm. Big comfortable bed and in adjoining living room sofa, smart TV and stunning views all round. Large bathroom - bath was huge and luxurious, as was the shower. Lovely toiletries, tea and snacks - real attention to detail. Food was delicious and exactly as ordered, service excellent. We look forward to returning.
The best hotel I've ever stayed in. Beautifully clean, friendly and welcoming staff. Room 7 with castle view was superb. Loved the ambiance, decor, facilities and extra touches like.. everything was taken care of and the breakfast was delicious. Wish we had stayed for dinner but arrived later than expected. Will be staying again for sure and highly recommend. SUBERB 5* THANK YOU
